Customer Service Manager 

The Role 

As the Barista & Co Customer Service Manager you will be the first point of contact for our customers. As well as dealing with general enquiries from our website and Amazon customers, you will also be responsible for managing inbound enquiries from our independent trade customers. The role is focused on ensuring customer happiness and you will also be required to manage reviews and gain feedback from customers across all channels.
  • Receive and respond to all inbound general enquiries by phone, email and livechat
  • Provide customers with product information
  • Manually process orders that are sent by email or via retailer portals
  • Build a rapport and reach out to customers for feedback
  • Liaise with merchandise manager to update stock availability across all channels
  • Pass higher level trade issues to the relevant account manager
  • Promptly deal with end consumer issues and enquiries
  • Gather details to set up new customer accounts
  • Respond to all reviews across sales platforms including Amazon and Shopify
  • Set up review requests and report on success through our review system
  • Attend trade shows and visit customers – national and international travel may be required 

The Person 

You will be a people person and must be confident when communicating with customers. Enthusiasm is a must as is a ‘can do’ attitude to ensure customer happiness. You will be passionate in finding positive outcomes and can deal with issues autonomously. As part of a young team you will also enjoy bringing ideas to the table to develop the business and our service levels. If you like coffee that would be a bonus.
 
In addition:
  • The ability to multi-task with excellent diary management
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and tech savvy (we are a cloud-based business)
  • Rationalise under pressure to ensure issues are dealt with quickly
  • You must have 3 years’ experience in a customer service environment
  • You will follow our beliefs that are; learn, brew and live and we want you to do all to the maximum.
