Brew It Stick FAQs

How long should I leave my Brew It Stick to brew for?

We recommend brewing your coffee with the Brew It Stick for 4-6 minutes. Start your timer as soon as you place the basket into your mug. The longer you brew for, the stronger your coffee will be.

What type of coffee do I need for the Brew It Stick?

To make fresh coffee at home with a Brew It Stick you will need filter ground coffee. In order to get the best cup of coffee in your hands, we'd always recommend grinding beans fresh at home. If you're not ready to commit to an electric coffee grinder, you can buy your coffee preground.

We offer a selection of single origin coffee's available as beans or filter ground. Our House Darker Roast is best suited for people who add milk to their brew whereas our House Lighter Roast is usually the go-to choice for black coffee drinkers.

Is the Brew It Stick easy to use?

The Brew It Stick is our entry-level brewer and the easiest to use in our collection of coffee makers. Scoop your fresh ground coffee into the basket, replace the handle and dunk it into a mug of hot water. Wait for 4-6 minutes and then enjoy your fresh cup of coffee at home, work or on the go.

Can you use a Brew It Stick to make tea?

Yes! The Brew It Stick is the perfect kitchen accessory to make coffee or loose leaf tea. Scoop your loose leaf tea into the basket and replace the stick handle. Place the stick into your mug of hot water and follow the steeping instructions on your teabag.

How do I clean my Brew It Stick?

The filter basket and handle should be cleaned with warm soapy water, rinsed and dried thoroughly. They can also be placed in the top rack of the dishwasher although this can reduce the lifetime of the product. The drip pot holder is not dishwasher safe and should be washed with warm soapy water. If you are moving from brewing coffee to tea we suggest using a specific coffee machine cleaner such as Cafiza as this will remove the coffee oils from the filter.
