If you’re serious about a great cup of coffee, you will know it starts with fresh whole beans. This coffee grinder packs a serious punch (often associated with grinders at a much higher price) to bring out the aromas and flavour.

At the touch of a button, stale, pre-ground coffee will be a thing of the past. The Core All Grind Plus electric grinder is a slimline countertop coffee grinder for those who want to raise their barista game. The grinder has 50 settings from coarse to fine grind, offering excellent grind size consistency so you can appreciate fresh coffee your way.

If you’re familiar with the Core All Grind, you’ll be interested to hear about the upgrades. Firstly, we’ve used a larger burr set to offer more consistency and overall better extraction. The 40mm stainless steel conical burrs have been carbon hardened for long-lasting durability. The up specced coffee grinder comes with a 2 year guarantee.

We’ve also improved grind retention by adding a bellow lid and anti-static technology within the burrs. For an open grinder, you’ll be surprised how clean this is to use. Push down on the bellow lid to clear out any residual coffee grounds and avoid messy surfaces.

We Love It Because:

Quiet Motor:

The Core All Grind Plus is even quieter that it’s predecessor, grinding coffee at 70 decibels which is about the same volume as a dishwasher.

It’s Quick:

With its powerful motor and hardened conical burrs, the Core All Grind Plus is able to grind enough coffee for 2 cups in 15 seconds.

It’s Tidy:

We designed the Core All Grind Plus to fit around your lifestyle, which meant it had to be compact to save on counter space. Not only that, but we’ve added a bellow lid to reduce static build-up and ensure there is overall less mess when using the grinder.

You get the Right Dose:

Something that sets the Core All Grind Plus aside from the rest is the matte black dosing cup that’s included with every coffee grinder. This is the easiest way to ensure you get the perfect dose, as it’s easy to remove and weigh. The narrow mouth of the dosing cup fits neatly into any size portafilter. This means if your espresso machine is not compatible with the 53mm or 58mm portafilter cradle attachments, you’ve got a simple solution.

Supplied with UK and EU plug options.

What kind of burrs does the Core All Grind Plus have?

Our upgraded electric coffee grinder, the Core All Grind Plus, is fitted with 40mm carbon-hardened stainless steel burrs for excellent grind consistency from espresso to coarse ground coffee. The conical burrs are removable for easy cleaning.

Is the Core All Grind Plus an espresso grinder?

The Core All Grind Plus offers 50 grind settings, from coarse to espresso. It also comes with two portafilter attachments (53mm and 58mm) so you can grind coffee directly into your portafilter basket.

We've used 40mm conical burrs to offer excellent grind consistency, making this an excellent choice for an espresso grinder.

Can I use the Core All Grind Plus with a 54mm portafilter?

The portafiliter attachments that come with your Core All Grind Plus are 53mm and 58mm, but you can use a 54mm portafilter by angling it downwards as you grind. Alternatively, use the free dosing cup included with you grinder.

What kind of plug does the Core All Grind Plus come with?

The Core All Grind Plus conical burr coffee grinder is fitted with an EU plug and comes with a UK plug adapter. To use your coffee grinder in the EU, please remove the UK plug adapter. If you notice a loose connection, please tighten the small screw on the adapter plug.

Does the Core All Grind Plus have a power saving mode?

Yes, your coffee grinder will enter power saving mode after 3 minutes of inactivity. Press any button to start grinding again.

What’s the difference between time mode and cup mode?

The Core All Grind Plus has 3 grind modes: time; cup; and espresso. Time mode allows you to choose the grind time between 1 – 60 seconds. It can be increased or decreased by pressing the ‘+’ or ‘-‘ buttons in increments of 0.1 seconds (between 1-15 seconds) or 1 second (between 15–60 seconds).

Example: Core All Grind Plus is set to 12 seconds, it will grind continuously until the timer is up

Cup mode operates on preprogramed settings, set by you. First, set your individual cup grind size between 3 – 5 seconds. Then, select how many cups you want to grind (maximum 12). Your coffee grinder will grind continuously until it has completed.

Example: Core All Grind Plus is set to grind for 4 seconds per cup, and you have asked for 3 cups. It will grind for 12 seconds. (4 seconds x 3 cups = 12 seconds)

Your coffee grinder will automatically switch to espresso mode when the portafilter cradle is installed. In this mode, the ‘SET’ button will turn off and you can use the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ buttons to change the grind time in increments of 0.1 seconds. Now, your coffee grinder will grind straight into your portafilter.

Help, my grinder is showing E1:

If you are seeing the E1 message on your display screen, it means that either your hopper isn’t installed correctly or the motor is overheating. Ensure the bean hopper is correctly assembled and the microswitch is closed. If you are still seeing the error, it may be that the motor is overheating. Switch off your coffee grinder and unplug the power cord. Wait 10 minutes for the unit to cool down and then restart. If you are still having issues, contact Barista & Co support by emailing hello@baristaandco.com.

Help, my grinder is showing E2:

The Error 2 message will be displayed when your grinder has reached or exceeded the maximum grind time of 240 seconds (4 cycles). This is a preventative measure to avoid the motor overheating, and will cause your machine to automatically shut down. Simply unplug your coffee grinder and wait for 10 minutes, then restart.

How to clean the conical burrs:

Push down on the bellow lid five or six times to clear any residual grounds. Remove the hopper and empty and empty any coffee beans. Once empty, place the hopper back onto your coffee grinder and turn it on, grind until completely empty.

Now that it’s empty, turn off and unplug your coffee grinder. Remove the hopper and place it to one side. Remove the upper burr and clean it with your cleaning brush. Clean the exposed lower burr with your cleaning brush. Once all the grounds have been brushed away, place the upper burr firmly back into position and lock the unit in place by turning clockwise.

Finally, align and attach the bean hopper back into position. Note: if the upper burr is not in position, the hopper will not attach.

    Really excellent grinder

This is a great product, and I don't think it is possible to do better at the price. It works well, the grind size adjustments are clear and easy to use. I measure about 2g loss between the weight of beans and weight of the ground coffee, which is fine. Recommended.

Thank you so much for your amazing review of our new electric coffee grinder! We're pleased you're seeing less retention, exactly what we set out to do

    Great little grinder

My other half pointed the grinder out to me on the pre-order deal as we always debate how much of a mess my professional grade grinder makes in our kitchen. I have to say the quality of the espressos I get has definitely improved. I love the compact size of the unit, how easy it is to change the grid size and the dosing cup really helps keep to coffee contained. I would definitely recommend it.

Thanks for the amazing review Mark, messy coffee grounds everywhere was one of the things we wanted to tackle with the Core All Grind Plus so I'm over the moon to hear it's working for you

    Excellent Grinder

Fast, reliable delivery and well packaged. The Grind Plus, is a compact and well designed machine. Far too often review sites scare customers into thinking they need very high spec machines to achieve a good espresso grind, meaning high cost etc. Having ground over a kilo of coffee with this machine now for espresso . I can confirm it grinds brilliantly I am using level 6, and if I went finer, I would "choke" my Sage Bambino Plus. Getting the right dose is quite easy, either based on time or dose volume, producing a double shot in just over 8 seconds and very consistently. 1 downside, but truly not a deal breaker for me is the portafilter holder at 53mm does not fit a sage filter at 54mm and the other holder is too large. But I don't really need a holder. No static or popcorning. So extremely happy and especially for the price. Thanks Barista & Co.

Thank you for reviewing the Core All Grind Plus Danny, and pleased to hear you've had a great experience Although the Safe portafilter is slightly larger than the cradle, you can still grind in espresso mode by angling the portafilter down slightly. The dosing cup is a great alternative as well. If you have any questions just pop us an email

    Great grinder, excellent service

Ordered on the pre sale that also included a 1kg bag of coffee. Was delayed being shipped for some reason but arrived in the end. Took me a few tries with the grind settings and my biggest fault is where I forget to change the grind based on what I am brewing.

Easy to clean and overall I am very pleased with the purchase.

Only real issue I have is with the adapters for the porta filters. I only have a basic Sage coffee machine and Sage in their wisdom use a 54mm size. The two adapters provided are a different size. I now grind into a container which means less wasted coffee.

Thanks Paul, we greatly appreciate your review. You can trigger the Sage portifilter if you use the large attachment but it needs to be angled down slightly. You're right manufacturers do use many different sizes, annoying we know and you are right to use the dosing cup as that will cover all bases. Thanks again for your time. James
