Enjoy freshly ground coffee for two in under 20 seconds.
The Core All Grind is a modern, slimline coffee grinder designed to help you make better coffee at home. You'll love grinding fresh coffee at home, releasing beautiful aromas and unlocking the full flavour of the bean.
Key Features:
-
A Grind For all Coffee Makers. From fine grind to coarse grind for stovetop, filter (Strong Brew or Aeropress), pour over, cafetiere (coffee press / One Brew / Brew It Stick) and cold brew. Grind coffee from 250 microns to over 1000 microns. Find the greatest consistency between 400 and 800 microns, perfect for manual brewing methods and filter coffee.
-
Simple and Easy to Clean. The burrs on this coffee grinder are simple to access, clean and replace and even comes with a brush stored in the hopper. There is no need for tools and complex instructions. With the press of a button you can remove and replace the burr in a couple of seconds.
-
Consistently Excellent Coffee. The 29mm stainless steel burrs provide excellent grind size consistency. This ensures even extraction when brewing for a better tasting cup of coffee. They're powered by a powerful DC motor that has a grind speed of 415 rpm. This reduces the harmful impact of heat on the fresh coffee but keeps it quiet for use at home (approximately 75db).
-
Grind on Time or Weight. The grinder has automatic 10 second increments (up to 50 seconds) and a manual on off button if you want to grind based on time. We've designed the removable hopper for those who grind on weight. With its coffee shut off opening, you can place it on scales and then put back on to the grinder without any spillage.
-
Keep Coffee Fresh. The UV protected bean hopper holds up to 240 grams of whole bean coffee and can be removed with a simple twist. The included ground coffee container has a capacity of 120 grams and is also UV protected with a silicone stopper for storage.
-
Use with an Espresso Machine Portafilter. We've included a portafilter attachment for those who are looking to grind for an espresso machine. It is triggered when the portafilter is put in the cradle, to stop simply remove. The electric coffee grinder also has a removable disperser. This allows coffee to be evenly distributed when using various portafilters. Please note it is not an espresso specific grinder and you should consider this if you only brew espresso as you may require a finer grind size.
-
Replacements for your Coffee Grinder. We understand that accidents happen and we'll be here to help when they do. You'll find spare parts for the Core All Grind on our website, including a spare bean hopper, burr grinder replacement and portafilter cradle. Our 5 star customer service team will be more than happy to help you find the right replacements for your coffee grinder.
Dimensions: 11cm (W) x 34cm (H) x 27cm (D) - 23cm (D) without portafilter attachment on back.
Is the Core All Grind an espresso grinder?
The grinder has been designed specifically for manual brewing however it can grind to a micron level between 250 and 500 which many people use for espresso. The grind size consistency is more consistent between 400 and 800 microns which covers most manual brewing methods. As it can grind at lower microns we include a portafilter attachment that you often find on espresso specific grinders. It is important to note that the espresso grind is designed to be used with a pressurised portafilter which is found on many entry level domestic machines. You should check the portafilter (with the manufacturer) that you have before purchasing. You can adjust the burrs further for dedicated espresso grinding, please see below.
Can I replace the burrs?
Absolutely, unlike other grinders you can replace the burrs in a few seconds. Simply detach the main grind unit with the press of a button and clip the new one in to place. We sell the replacement burr units on our website and we ask that you send back the old ones for recycling. We will provide a 10% discount on your next purchase to cover shipping costs.
Can the Core All Grind be used commercially?
No, the grinder is designed for home use only and should not be used in a commercial environment. Any commercial use will invalidate your guarantee and could damage the product.
Can I reduce the amount of static?
As the grinder has been designed as an open grinder to be used with a portafilter, the storage container or another vessel you may get some coffee grind on the surface. This is often created due to static which is unavoidable with all grinders. We always recommend only grinding what you need (on demand) for the coffee you are brewing as it will mean minimal static and fresher coffee. To minimise the build up we suggest tapping the grinder head (while holding the body) after each use to knock the grind out. You can also use the brush inside the hopper to give the disperser a quick clean after each use.
Can I adjust the burrs for only espresso?
If you have a non-pressurised portafilter you may want to set-up the grinder for espresso. You can purchase in this set-up from our website or you can make adjustments to the internal burrs yourself. We would always recommend choosing the correct set-up on our website. You can see a guide to the burr adjustment here. Please remember that by doing this it will increase grind time and you should only grind what you require for immediate brewing to reduce static.
Filter or espresso calibration?
Out the box the Core All Grind is designed for manual brewing and pressurised portafilters. For a small cost we can adjust the burrs so you can use the product specifically for espresso. If you require a grinder for a higher value espresso machine such as the Profitec Go you may want to consider a dedicated espresso grinder such as the Eureka Mignon Specialita.
