About Samba Nights Coffee:

Our all-time best selling coffee, Samba Nights, is a single original Brazilian medium roast. As you'd expect with coffee from Brazil, Samba Nights features milk chocolate, hazelnut and macadamia nut tasting notes. This means it pairs perfectly with milk, and tastes equally as great when you drink it as a black filter coffee.

We only work with small, community-run coffee farms in Brazil and our direct relationship means we're able to pay up to 4X more than Fair Trade. Our roastery is located in Dorset, and we roast fresh coffee in small batches every week. 

How to Make Perfect Coffee with Barista & Co Brew It Stick:

1. Gather Your Supplies:

   • Ensure you have coarse ground coffee, the Brew It Stick, a scoop measuring spoon, boiling water, and your cup ready.

2. Prepare Brew It Stick:

   • Take the Brew It Stick out of the holder and remove the basket. Add coarse ground coffee to the basket, filling it approximately two-thirds full.

3. Secure Basket:

   • Place the basket back onto the handle and twist it securely to ensure proper attachment.

4. Add Boiling Water:

   • Pour boiling water into your cup. Insert the Brew It Stick into the cup along with the water.

5. Choose Brew Strength:

   • For a stronger brew, keep stirring and twisting the Brew It Stick. Ensure you don't cover the small hole at the top of the handle. For a lighter brew, cover the hole.

6. Brewing Time:

   • Allow the coffee to brew for 5 to 8 minutes. The longer the brew, the stronger it will be.

7. Final Stir and Twist:

   • At the end of the brewing time, give the coffee a quick stir and twist using the Brew It Stick.

8. Place Back in Holder:

   • Place the Brew It Stick back in its holder for convenience.

9. Enjoy Your Brew:

   • Your Brew It Stick coffee is ready to be enjoyed. Cheers to the perfect cup!

Can I make a strong coffee with the Brew It Stick?

The Brew It Stick is designed as a lower strength brewer as part of our brew guide that covers all strengths so be sure to check that before you make a purchase. It is right for many people who don't like their coffee too strong.  You can increase the brew strength by using a slightly finer grinder size, stirring more and leaving to brew longer. We would suggest that you try ordering one of our medium grind size (filter option) coffees if you want to increase the strength. You can brew for up to 8 minutes and we recommend you stir and twist at the start and then again half way through your brew time but not at the end. By following this method you can make a coffee of a similar strength to a cafetiere.

Can I brew tea in the Brew It Stick?

Absolutely and you should follow the dosage (amount) of tea recommended by the tea merchant. It is very important to remember that coffee and tea have very different flavours and we do suggest buying a separate basket if you are going to move between coffee and tea on a regular basis. If you don't do this very often then be sure to give the brewer a good clean before using for tea. We recommend that you stir at the beginning, during and at the end when brewing loose leaf tea.

Do you make a metal version?

We're currently in the design and manufacturing stages of bringing a brand new coffee infusion stick onto the market that will include a stainless steel mesh basket. The idea is this will give you a cleaner cup, as the fine metal filter will help you to extract a clean crisp coffee.

Why is there a hole in the top of the handle?

Our original Brew It Stick's did not have a hole in the top of the handle but we found by adding this small hole we could increase the strength of the coffee that was brewed. If enjoy a lower strength brew then you can put your finger over this hole when brewing as it will reduce the amount of water that reaches the coffee. In simple terms that will mean there is less coffee in the water.

Orders placed before 1pm will dispatch on the same day. Orders placed after 1pm will dispatch on the following working day. Our carriers will attempt to deliver twice and also leave a collection card. If they are unable to deliver and you do not collect your parcel, the goods will be returned to us and you will be liable to pay any additional delivery charge.

We want you to be happy with your purchase. We have a 30 days returns policy and we will offer a refund or exchange as long as we receive the goods back within 30 days of the delivery date.

Please ensure you say whether you require a refund or exchange in the notes. 

Unwanted Items

• The product and retail packaging must be unused and in perfect saleable condition
• Tapes or labels must not be applied to the product packaging
• Please note we are permitted by law to reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods caused by your handling
• If you would like to exchange or send an undamaged and unused item back, you are responsible for the delivery back to Barista & Co Coffee and any associated delivery fee for the replacement. You should ensure you have a proof of postage and insurance.
• We cannot offer exchanges and refunds for coffee as it is a foodstuff
• We cannot offer exchanges and refunds for gift cards or customised products
• If you have ordered multiple items and request a refund for part of the order you will be charged £3.95 if this takes the original order value below our free delivery value of £40, this is not charged if you request an exchange
• Exchanges and refunds can only be process after you request a refund through your account
• Items sent back without a request will not be processed and you will be liable to pay shipping if you would like the goods back
• Your refund or exchange will be provided once the goods have been received and inspected
• For exchanges we will provide a full refund and then send a link to the item(s) you require so you can make payment for that item, we will not charge delivery for the second order as long as the value is over £20
• From your request we aim to process refunds within 5 working days however your bank may also take time to process the refund

Damaged or Wrong Items Delivered

• If you receive a damaged or broken item we will happily replace this for you
• A replacement request must be submitted through your account
• Once submitted we may request photographic evidence of the damage
• We aim to dispatch replacements within 3 working days of submission
• If we have sent the wrong item please submit a request through your account
• Once processed we will provide a free returns label and kindly ask you send the item back to us

Cancelled Orders

• We process all orders immediately and we are unable to prevent shipments so please take care ordering the correct item
• Once you receive your delivery, you are able to return as part of our unwanted item policy
• It is your responsibility to pay the return shipping cost
