The glass beaker replacement for the Core Coffee Press is made from heat resistant borosilicate glass which protects it from thermal shock. Choose from the 3 cup / 1 mug / 350ml or the 8 cup / 3 mug / 1L size below.

Please Note: This is the replacement glass beaker for the Core Coffee Press and will not be compatible with other cafetiere's in the Barista & Co range.

Orders placed before 12pm Monday-Friday will be dispatched that day by Royal Mail. Orders placed after 12pm, on the weekend or during a bank holiday will be dispatched the next working day. As soon as your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with the tracking number.

We understand that accidents happen and every product does have a lifecycle. For that reason, we provide spare glass beakers for all our coffee presses.

The Barista & Co Core Coffee Press replacement beaker is made from borosilicate glass to protect against thermal shocks from temperatures. It features handy measurements down the side so you can achieve the perfect fill every time.

Available in the large and small sizes:

  • 3 Cup / 1 Mug / 350ml (small) - compatible with BC048 codes
  • 8 Cup / 3 Mug / 1L (large) - compatible with BC049 codes
  • Please note: the spares do not include the lid and base, these colour images are for original product reference only

The Core Coffee Press glass beaker replacement is easy to switch. If your original beaker is smashed or broken please do this carefully and wear gloves if possible. First remove the base, lid and plunger from the beaker. Our borosilicate glass cafetiere beakers are 100% recyclable so this can go into your green bin.

Unbox your new beaker and place it into the base. This should fit snuggly, without having to apply too much pressure to the glass. Once in place, you can pop your plunger and lid back into your Core Coffee Press and you're ready to start brewing.

Which size do I need?

Our Core Coffee Press lid is available in the 3 cup (350ml) or the 8 cup size (1L). Look at the measure markings on your beaker to know which size is right for you.

What is the base made out of?

Our Core Coffee Press is 100% plastic free. The beaker is made from heat resistant borosilicate glass.

Is this glass beaker compatible with other cafetiere's in the Barista & Co range?

This beaker is only compatible with the Core Coffee Press as it is designed with a glass handle and to slot into the stainless steel base. If you have an older model, such as the Corral cage design or the original Plunge Pot, get in touch with the team for assistance.

Orders placed before 1pm will dispatch on the same day. Orders placed after 1pm will dispatch on the following working day. Our carriers will attempt to deliver twice and also leave a collection card. If they are unable to deliver and you do not collect your parcel, the goods will be returned to us and you will be liable to pay any additional delivery charge.

Please note: once your order has been placed it is unlikely we will be able to change it as our warehouse processes orders immediately. 

International Orders

  • We deliver internationally through Royal Mail International Standard
    • Europe delivery 3-5 working days
    • Worldwide delivery 6-7 working days
  • For international shipments outside of our delivery countries please contact Forward2Me or another parcel forwarder
  • Depending on your delivery location you may be required to pay import duties and charges
  • It is your responsibility to return any unwanted items before a refund will be processed

Exchanges & Refunds

 We want you to be happy with your purchase. We have a 30 days returns policy and we will offer a refund or exchange as long as we receive the goods back within 30 days of the delivery date. 

Please ensure you say whether you require a refund or exchange in the notes. 


Unwanted Items

  • The product and retail packaging must be unused and in perfect saleable condition
  • Tapes or labels must not be applied to the product packaging
  • Please note we are permitted by law to reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods caused by your handling
  • If you would like to exchange or send an undamaged and unused item back, you are responsible for the delivery back to Barista & Co Coffee and any associated delivery fee for the replacement. You should ensure you have a proof of postage and insurance.
  • We cannot offer exchanges and refunds for coffee as it is a foodstuff
  • We cannot offer exchanges and refunds for gift cards or customised products
  • If you have ordered multiple items and request a refund for part of the order you will be charged £3.95 if this takes the original order value below our free delivery value of £40, this is not charged if you request an exchange
  • Exchanges and refunds can only be process after you request a refund through your account
  • Items sent back without a request will not be processed and you will be liable to pay shipping if you would like the goods back
    • Your refund or exchange will be provided once the goods have been received and inspected
    • For exchanges we will not charge delivery for the second order as long as the value is over £20
    • From your request we aim to process refunds within 5 working days however your bank may also take time to process the refund
    • If you have not received a refund within 10 days, please email hello@baristaandco.com

     

    Damaged or Wrong Items Delivered

    • If you receive a damaged or broken item we will happily replace this for you
    • A replacement request must be submitted through your account
    • Once submitted we may request photographic evidence of the damage
    • We aim to dispatch replacements within 3 working days of submission
    • If we have sent the wrong item please submit a request through your account
    • Once processed we will provide a free returns label and kindly ask you send the item back to us

    Cancelled Orders

    • We process all orders immediately and we are unable to prevent shipments so please take care ordering the correct item
    • Once you receive your delivery, you are able to return as part of our unwanted item policy
    • It is your responsibility to pay the return shipping cost

    Poor quality

    This is the second beaker I have had. This was a replacement for an earlier one. Ordered in June 2024, now cracking on the side in early August 2024. It hasn't been dropped or carelessly treated. The first cafetiere beaker cracked at the bottom. Not very good. Previous cafetiere beaker from a different brand lasted 20 years.

    Hi Shaun, sorry you faced this problem. Unfortuantely due to the nature of glass it isn't possible to guarantee longevity however we will also replace if it is an immediate issue.     Glad to be able to get a replacement beaker. I always pre-warm with hot tap water before use.

    Unfortunately family who visit, and think they know better, don’t. Which caused my original beaker to get a hairline crack 😏
