Indy Best 2022
Proudly named one of the best independent roasters in the UK
Our decaf coffee beans are hand-picked in the Santa Ana department of El Salvador. The beans are grown at approximately 1100m amsl. You'll find this coffee farm in the foothills of the Ilamatepec volcano. The coffee fruit grows in rich volcanic soils, adding to its robust flavour.
Our House Decaf coffee uses both Pacas and Bourbon beans, washed for a cleaner cup. We've used the CO2 method to naturally decaffeinate the coffee beans. When we asked our focus group, they all preferred coffee using this method. The general idea is that decaf coffee is best when you avoid using solvents, so that's exactly what we did.

More About Our Decaf Roast
This particular coffee has been grown in El Salvador. The raw green coffee beans are then decaffeinated in Germany. Finally, we bring them over to our independent coffee roastery in Dorset. This decaf is a darker roast, perfect for people who take milk in their coffee or brew with an espresso machine.
Our natural decaf coffee is available in 350g or 1kg bags. Coffee tastes better when it's ground fresh at home, so we'd always recommend whole bean. Currently, you can still buy ground decaf coffee online from Barista & Co.
The best decaf coffee always has rich and nutty tasting notes and bursting aromas. This single origin from El Salvador tastes like chocolate, hazelnut and orange. The bright, zesty citrus flavours balance the sweeter, chocolate flavours perfectly. All in all, this is a decaf coffee you don't want to miss.
Our Decaf Coffee Subscription
Barista & Co offer a variety of single origin, specialty coffees for you to try at home, at work or on the go. Our House Lighter Roast is from a small farm in Mexico, and is quickly becoming the house favourite. But our decaf coffee beans are something special.
While all our coffees are available to buy online by the bag, we wanted to reward people who found their match. We've made it easier to get your hands on coffee when you need it by launching our coffee subscription. Subscribe to whole bean or filter ground coffee to save 10% on all future deliveries.
Our decaf coffee subscription is the best way to ensure you never run out of your go-to brew. Select whole bean or ground and then tell us the frequency you'd like your beans delivered. You can have your decaf coffee delivered every month if you choose. But we also offer options such as weekly, every 2 weeks, every 6 weeks or every 8 weeks if you'd prefer.
The main benefit of our decaf coffee subscription is your beans come straight from the roastery. We roast coffee every Monday and Tuesday in Dorset, then rest the beans to release excess CO2. Finally, they're bagged and delivered to your home or office when you need them.

Freshly Roasted Specialty Coffee
At Barista & Co, we only use high grade, single origin coffee that we would be happy to drink ourselves. We ensure excellence when it comes to specialty coffee by working with community-driven independent farms, roasting in small batches and quality-checking every bean.
We roast our coffee fresh every Monday and Tuesday, and leave the beans to rest for 48 hours for a better tasting brew.
We asked 1,000 people what their favourite coffee was and they all said darker roast. However, we ran a blind taste test at Barista & Co Social. The results surprised us! Most people said they preferred Our House Lighter Roast. Why not try them both?
